Credit.com

Bringing a new product
to life at the speed of AI

A production-ready MVP for self-serve attorney-created credit letters and consultations. Designed, built, and integrated with an AI-first workflow.

Context

Product

A new self-serve offering for LEX, the legal-services sub-brand of Credit.com, that let users generate attorney-created credit letters for common situations like settlement requests, pay-for-delete, cease contact, medical bills, and late fee waivers. Users could complete the letter themselves, optionally have it mailed, and add a stand-alone or bundled consultation with a paralegal.

Audience

The initial audience was existing and former Credit.com / Lexington Law customers, with the intent to expand to broader self-serve demand over time. The offering targeted people looking for lower-cost DIY credit help, especially as more consumers were turning to generic AI tools for letters and advice.

Requirements

Create a lower-cost entry point that responded to growing DIY demand without sacrificing trust. The product needed to feel simple and self-serve, while still reflecting the credibility of attorney-created templates and consultation support. It also needed to move quickly, using an AI-first workflow and no dedicated engineering team.

Role

Led product design and flow development for the MVP. Shaped the offer, user journey, and core content, and worked directly in Lovable to move the product from concept to working experience without a traditional handoff.
